The Details

Shielding Theory
Electromagnetic shielding (cloaktec) is used to shield electromagnetic signals such as radio signals from leaving or entering a box or enclosure.

Attenuation
is simply a reduction of signal strength during transmission. You represent attenuation in decibels (dB), which is ten times the logarithm of the signal power at a particular input divided by the signal power at an output of a specified medium.
It is expressed as the base 10 logarithm of the ratio of the powers of two signals:

20 dB attenuation means that 0.0100 of the input power survives
40 dB attenuation means that 0.0001 of the input power survives

Cloaktec™ has an adv. attenuation of 80 dB in the wireless signal range of 10 MHz to 20 GHz, or 0.00000001 of the input signal.
